Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports that Mariah Carey
will star in a new movie "All That Glitters"; a movie about
a girl-group. She is very busy writing six songs for the
soundtrack. In the article she says she talked with Prince
about making the music-score...



De Telegraaf is not exactly the most reliable newspaper
in Holland so I wonder how much of this is true...
Apparently she told all this on the MIDEM in Cannes.

Like many other stars, Mariah Carey is now on the Riviera in the South of France
in Cannes for the Midem 2000, a kind of Cinema Festival for music. In a
interview given today for the local newspaper Nice-Matin, she told that in May
she'll make a film entitled "All That Glitters". She'll play the part of a
musician in a famous rock band. Maria explained the story happens in
Minneapolis in the 80s and that for the need of the film she'll meet The
