BBC DOCUMENTARY SEEKS PRINCE FANS!!!

I am currently in the early stages of research for a new BBC documentary about Prince and am urgently seeking avid Prince fans. If you have followed every stage of Prince's career, have collected all his records and merchandise, or even if you are only a recent fan - I want to hear from you!

Please e-mail me at sophie.everest@bbc.co.uk with your contact details and a good time to call and I will pick your brains.

Hope to hear from you all soon...

Sophie Everest

[Anyone interested in this, should use caution--especially if you're concerned with how you or Prince will be portrayed... I have no information about this person or this project, and the BBC is certainly reputable, but always ask enough questions to feel you're not going to be misquoted or have your words used in a way you wouldn't approve... -Ben]

I gotthis email too,was a bit unsure whether to co-operate though ,they could portray us as fanatics purely because we have a website on him...

Just sent an email asking for more info, and got an 'out of office autoreply' including her mobile number and an authentic-looking 'BBC confidentiality' clause.

So she at least seems a genuine contact - and a quick search turned up that she is also collecting info on the asian community in the UK.

I think we're pretty safe with the BBC - the docu they did about 10 years ago is by far the best I've seen, and the only one that balance praise with criticism. Go on everyone, get involved! (especially UK fams)

I work for the beeb and I hope this will be cool! The more serious fans that get involved the better the show will be - I'm sure "we" could even improve the facts/information side of things!
