Apparently through tremendous rumors covering the entire Prince and Christina Aguilera message forums about a new cd single being worked on, is in fact true. According to various sources the two have been communicating and have a great friendship together. She was also inspired to do her own version of "She Loves Me 4 Me" and entitled her version "Loves Me 4 Me" which is on "Stripped" out now on RCA Recordings. They're project is due out sometime 2003. [Haven't heard anything more about this... no idea if it's true or a hoax, or what... -Ben]

Its a hoax, or rather, a lie. The song on her album is "Loving Me For Me" (thats how it reads on the CD)...and it is not a cover of "She Loves Me 4 Me". You can go to her site and hear a sample.

The same person who wrote it, under two different org names, is also the same one putting it up on christina message boards and on mtv.com

BTW, the same person said to prove the rumors are true, sad, on TRL, Nov. 4th, she will wear moon ear wraps on both of her ears.

She wore her hair down with her left air sticking out from time to time and no ear wrap.

In a statement in VH1, Santana's new album will feature many songs featuring callabos with many a superstar. HE said he wants to get PRINCE and MJ together on the SAME TRACK. Howz about them apples?

Firstly, Prince's Image would not be in sink with Christina's New Lesbian/Punk /Wildness Vibe. Maybe, for the $ only. Definitely, not a Romance.

I really hope that it is true. I bought CA's new CD, and I was really suprised how good it was. She is a really talented singer, and the further she gets away from the teen-pop thing, the further away from the vocal gymnastics, the better. And what she does best, as demonstrated on Stripped, is sing the blues. Don't hate on me; give it a genuine listen - you'll agree. I absolutely thought of Prince and CA when I listened to many of the songs, imagining what a collabo would sound like ...

Oh, and I definitely wouldn't base my view of CA on her "Dirrty" video which preceded her CD's release. It's not representative of the CD at all. It was a blatant attempt to get attention ... where have I seen that before ... hmmm ...?

I must admit i'm not real familiar with christinas voice, but heard many "not so great" things. i do hope prince thinks twice before he does this IF THIS IS TRUE. he will cheapen his now saviore-faire image of a jazz/funk/blues artist that i think he now has. gwen stefanis collaboration with him didnt help either of them! he has 2 be fussy about who he teams with. i like to brag to people about what a special musician prince now is, because it also makes my taste in music look "very cool" to people i know as well as dont know, and thats important to me. if all these threads of late about this, and the very young model, and gwen stefani's wedding etc. r true? i think prince s heading in a totally different direction than he was, and makes him seem like he totally lost it! i hope these r jokes/rumours!
