Update: I goofed. Prince doesn't 10,000 but 100,000 pre-orders before
printing starts on the sample set...



The interview (which was done a day after the Kurt Loder interview for MTV)
also revealed that Loder initially was not going through with it when he
refused to sign a contract (!) that would give Prince full control over the
footage shot at Paisley Park. When he refused, Prince walked away saying "then
you better call the lawyers if you want an interview".



It also tells how a photographer for a magazine article wanted to take pictures
of Prince outside Paisley Park because "he looks so artificial in most
pictures", but Prince refused and in the end the photographer had to go home
without taking a picture (though she was promised that her costs would be
reimbursed).
