More on the eBay crackdown

Just thought I'd let you know -- Prince has filed some sort of papers with Ebay which resulted in almost all of the live Prince videos being yanked from the auction block. If you want to see the email ebay sent me, I'd be glad to forward it to you. Actually, I'll include a little snippet below. I don't see how he can do this (especially for those concert tapes that were in a public outdoor venue for example). But anyway, he and/or his legal time are on the hunt, it seems!
Here's the pertinent part of the email:

We regret to inform you that your auction:
225879964 Live video of The Artist/Prince from 1999
has been ended at the request of O}+> (also known as "Prince" and "The
Artist formerly known as Prince"), a member of eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Program, because they filed a sworn
statement that it offers a product or contains material which violates their copyright, trademark or other rights. In the
interest of protecting all eBay users, we end such auctions to avoid any association with potentially infringing or unlawful
items.
