SOTT greatest according to Rolling Stone

In the new issue of RS, the 'Women in Rock' issue, there's a feature called 'Greatest Albums of All Time'. It's dedicated to Prince for Sign O The Times (5 stars). They also gave 1999 5 stars.

In the last issue, wasn't Purple Rain the only CD listed in the greatest albums of all time? And at #66 or something? A lot changes in two weeks, I guess...

I used to subscribe to rolling stone ... and was an avid reader ... IMO ... until ...they had become - more "people magazine/Natl Enquirer meets Billboard" ... so i dropped it ... I mean in a musician's/band magazine- who wants to read about brittney spears or Nsync !!!???

but i have to say ... props ... to picking "1999" and "Sign of the Times" , IMO , the best 2 choices (not that they aint other Prince favs...)

Those were, i believe, the greatest albums rated by
the fans. Hm, what do they know?
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
