Saw the new tenative rundown of current releases for the
month of June at Wherehouse and look who was there: our pal
Prince [on the 7th, his 41st birthday]. It appears he still
celebrates his birthday in some fashion. Not getting my
hopes up though.

June 7, 1999 is a Monday, whereas Tuesday is the usual release day in the USA. In the recent past this wasn't applicable, as NPG Records had been working outside the major distribution systems. However, if Rave is distributed by a major label (as anticipated), I'm not sure if a Monday release would be feasible.
