The Artist To Wake Up 'Early'



(12/24/99, 12 p.m. ET) - The Artist formerly known as Prince will make one of his rare TV appearances next week, when he's a guest on the CBS morning program The Early Show.
Host Bryant Gumbel conducted an interview with the Artist last week at the Artist's Paisley Park recording and performance complex in Chanhassen, Minn., and it's set to air on Wednesday (Dec. 29). Also included in the segment will be legendary bassist Larry Graham, and the duo will perform the song "Baby Knows."



"Baby Knows" is featured on the Artist's latest album, Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic; it's the song that features Sheryl Crow on vocals. The Early Show airs from 7 to 9 a.m. ET/PT.
