Prince's "When Doves Cry" was voted as the #1 Best
Song of All Time on VH-1's show 'The List'. The
panelist who nominated the classic song was an editor
of Spin Magazine. "When Doves Cry" topped "Johnny B.
Goode" and "Respect" as the #2 and #3 songs,
respectively. The show aired at 11 PM on Thursday
night, and airs every weekday at both 7 PM and 11 PM.
A 'The List' marathon will occur on Saturday afternoon
on VH1.
