*** The Artist on CNN's 'World Beat'



(Launch) - The Artist, formerly known as Prince, will be featured on
CNN's "World Beat" this Saturday, according to his official Web site.
He will discuss his new album and his upcoming pay-per-view event,
"Rave Un2 the Year 2000 With the Artist." The pay-per-view concert
special will air at 10 p.m. ET on New Year's Eve and will feature
performances by Lenny Kravitz, Mavis Staples, Morris Day and the
Time, Maceo Parker and members of the Family Stone. Check your local
