[Uhm, not really "news," but what the heck....]



This is kinda old and not really relevant (in fact I forgot about it till just now) but a couple of weekends ago I was watching "The Victory Garden" on PBS, and this guy was walking around his big, beautiful vegetable garden and talking about all the vegetables he was growing. Well, he gets to the eggplant and kneels down next to it and calls it the "Purple Rain" eggplant. I think he called it that because well eggplants are purple anyway (I think) but this one wasn't solid purple but rather had splashes of purple rain drops on it; really cute!
