I just saw the Artist on The Today Show. He looked good except
for the Santa-Claus like head wrap. His black jacket had a
glitter effect. Pretty Cool! He spoke about God, studying
the Bible, the pay-per-view event (He mouthed that he is going
to Morris Day's ass!). Also, when Matt Lauer (Today Show anchor)
said "Happy Holidays", he responded "Thank you, but I don't
celebrate the holidays." Lauer paused but did not respond
and began the interview. He also spoke about the album and
said "I'm still Prince, he just chooses to go by an unpronounable
symbol." What happened to "Prince is dead" (from the Gold
period)? The interview began ar 7:42am (EST) and lasted about
10 to 15 minutes. He agreed when Lauer asked to come back in
the New Year to perform live. Finally, he said he will perform
1999 at 12:00am on New Year's Eve and it will be on MTV worldwide
in addition to the pay event.
