Star Tribune RANDOM MIX: Prince ONA Live... release party in Harlem?

Instead of his standard Chanhassen locale, Prince is having a CD release party for his "One Nite Alone -- Live" CDs in Harlem next week at a club called Jimmy's Uptown. Now that's a change of scenery. The singer has been spending a lot of time out East at his new place in Toronto, his wife's hometown. He's about to go even farther east for a European tour.

What's up with this shit? I've been calling his publicist for weeks and she hasn't had the Decency to call me back! Now I find out there's a release party next week in Harlem no less? What's up with this shit? Is this private or what and Prince going to be there? I'm pissed off and I wanna go! Shit you would think Prince's publicist would get back to fans especially hardcore fans. It's never Prince's fault with stuff it's always the people who he employs that have no manners and don't treat his fans correctly. NPGMC also isn't the greatest. I have ordered stuff from them and they send me Defective merchandise or they say they can't find my order! Why employ Incompetant people or people who don't have manners? Prince please what gives here? I'm deeply upset and will not fail to say so!

why would a publicist call fans? their job is to deal with the press, not crazy fanatics who try and take up all their time. get a life.

If there is indeed a party all members from the NPGMC should be allowed entrance especially N.Y. what's with the holier than thou stance with Susan Blond Inc? Have some manners you know we are all people too . Don't be such a freaking snob about things. All fans should be treated with respect and if somebody says they will call you back have the common Decency to do so. Stand by your word! I hate phonies and liars.

so Prince is not allowed to have a private party anymore? somehow you are entitled to be all up in his business, no matter what? I don't think so. No doubt susan blond is very expensive and are paid to deal with the press and shows like jay leno and the today show. If I were Prince, I would tell him to ignore fanatics - that's not what he's paying them for!!

We on the other hand... Have the ut most respect for Susan Blond Inc. and all the girls employed there.

last may 9 here in new york we sent one of our "personel" to
Susan Blond Inc. with a package to be delivered to the People of Paisley Park. here is his account...

when i got there a beautiful girl name jessica asked if she could b of some assistanct. I told her that i was there to drop of a package of MASTERS for the New Power Generation. they were in town and we wanted to present our work for the past year. but with the twins towers we saw it fit to follow proper protocal. she then took the masters and asked if she need to sign something. I said please sign this... it was a page in my diary smile and i said thank you and left. later on that day she called a number that i had left with them and told me that she couldn't deliver the package because it was to big. that i should do it. i said ok and said that i would pick it up in the morning. i was n the neighbor hood and drop that night instead.. another girl was there and i told her the situation... she would not release my package to me because it was "important material" they protected me from myself...

not knowing who i was. In doing so they showed me that no matter what they are out for the best interest of there clients. after everything checked out, she gave me back my package. and because of them i will hand deliver these MASTERS at the proper time instead of wondering what ever happen to them.

thank you
Susan Blond INC.
