De Telegraf (The Netherlands) article on Prince

There was a big article about our man in the saturday issue of the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. Journalist Ron Peereboom Voller describes how he met The Artist in hit Grand Hotel suite after the taping op the Op Reis show. "Do you see the problem?" he asks the writer. "If I give up control, something goes wrong. They were nice people, but they didn't understand me. I've reached a certain level when it comes to playing live. And I like to keep it like that." Further on het complains about modern day music. "Fifteen year old kids, playing the same melodies all over again. While an artist like Bjork should be a big star." Finally there's the moneything again. "Everybody knows that the manufacturing of a CD costs 2 dollar cent. If I sell my records (the rerecorded old albums) for half the normal price I will still make more money."
