{{{Here I found in Telerama one of the most serious critical magazine in France a little article in their issue about what is gonna be the next big thing next year (n° 2748, p. 41)... and Prince is one of them !!!
Among articles about artists such as Beck (Sea change), Liars, Radio 4, Interpol, Brendan Benson, Blue States, there is a large photo of Prince (taken at Le Zénith in 1998) and an explanation of this surprise... For my part it is the first french article about the incredible One nite alone and the up-coming Xenophobia (in spite there will not b as we all no 7 albums !)
Here is my translation :
It says that this year the fall will be all for Prince. He's comin' 2 France, maybe with Maceo Parker ans is giving us an avalanche of CD. A full pack of 7 live albums ! And then another studio record "all instrumental" and jazzy, "Xenophobia" followed by two more mysterious albums... These albums are the follow-up of One nite alon dropped from Heaven just before this summer : a voice, a piano : naked emotion. But pay attention : you won't find these records to your local store but you can purchase them by being a member of The NPG music club, the label-club created by Prince. Remember, the man is against the "system" (majors labels, medias...) and wants to communicate - for the moment - only throught the Internet and his website. }}}

L'automne sera princier ! Au programme : une visite live en Europe (à Paris, le 29 octobre), sans doute en compagnie de Maceo Parker, et une avalanche de nouveaux disques. Un coffret de 7 albums en concert ! Puis un disque studio "tout instrumental" et jazzyfiant, Xenophobia, suivi par deux albums au contenu encore mystérieux. Oeuvres qui feront suite au One nite alone tombé du ciel avant l'été - une voix, un piano : l'émotion nue. Détail d'importance : vous ne trouverez pas ces disques chez votre disquaire mais pourrez les recevoir en vous abonnant au NPG music club, le label-club fondé par Prince. I find it interesting that in the article they say "a 7 disc live album", "Xenophobia", and 2 more mysterious albums... maybe we will get more out of the club than we thought... one can hope.

i bet, we get the one night alone cd and the xenophobia live cd! that would be 4 cd`s... hmmm, i rather have "one night alone" and three other "special ones", then myself buy the live cd in stores. in this way i would get more out of the club...
