In the sunday issue of gologne' s newspaper EXPRESS was an article
containing a cool picture about The Artists apperance at the 'The Dome'
aftershow party on friday night. Here's my attempt of a translation:



'Prince-fever in cologne. The most important questions: Where will he have
dinner ? And mostly, where will he play his secret gig ? He was eating at
'Citrus' in the Aachener Strasse. A private party for the closest friends.'
-> ?? 'There was no concert. He stayed on friday at his hotel Hyatt until
1.55 a.m.. A good time for normal people to go to bed. But not for a real
superstar, .....
At 2.10 he arrived at the 'Henkelmaennchen', located next to the KoelnArena.
There the aftershow party of 'The Dome' took place. And even though he did
cancel his gig there, he was allowed to party. And suddenly the boring party
got an event. All the teenie-stars like Juliette and Benjamin Boyce were
sneaking round the table. Only the sweet Laura had the pleasure to sit with
the even smaller artist at the same table. Prince was drinking evian-water
and was in a very good mood. With Tom Jones he talked like 'normal' people
do. I was also allowed to speak with him.' -> the reporter of that article,
not me.



' "I feel very well" he said relaxed. And you could see that. For three
minutes he was on the danceflorr, always attended by three bodyguards. At
4.10 a.m. it was over. the Artist got into his stretchlimo and went to his
hotel with two beautiful women.' --> this is not exactly right. It was 3.40
when he left the party. I have to know, because I was standing outside of
that club, very close to his limo. I was waiting for hours in the cold just
to see him for a few seconds, when he came out of the club. I also don' t
know anything about these two women. When he arrived and when he left he was
only attended by Larry and Tina Graham, nobody else. But I don' t know what
happened after that in the hotel. Maybe this is fake information, I really
don' t know. A few hours before that we ( I and some other fans) met members
of the NPG at their hotel the 'Hyatt'. I personally talked to Kirky J. and
Mike Scott. Also Mr.Hayes was there and they were all very nice to us. One
of the guys also talked to Tom Jones, who was sitting in the bar of the
hotel. It was cool to see him.
Then that guy who talked to Mr. Jones asked me, if I could drive him to his
girlfriend in cologne. I said yes, because I thought nothing was going to
happen anymore that night. And so I did. But after that I got back to the
hotel and the other fans told me that Larry Graham and his wife Tina
appeared and talked to them for a while. Oh no, I' m so angry that I' ve
missed that ! We then saw Mike Scott sitting in the bar and went to him. He
was also very nice to us. H etold us that it could be, that The Artist will
go to the party of 'The Dome'. And yes, like you all know by now, he was
there and I saw him walking in and after a long time standing in the cold I
saw him coming out again. Well, a secret gig in one of colognes clubs would'
ve been much better, but nevertheless this was a very exciting night.
