On Thanksgiving night, the late night talk show with Craig Kilborn had Gina Gershon as a guest. She told a story of how Jill Jones turned her on to Prince back in the eighties when he was looking for a girl to play the Apollonia role. She says he flew her out to Miineapolis an was very nice to her. Since she also sang he spoke with her about making a record and changing her name to Geena (with the G sound instead of the J). She went on to tell how she let her sleep in his bed and actually raced through traffic because she was late for her flight. Craig Kilborn kept trying to get her to say that Prince was a freak but she stood on how nice and polite he was.
I love Gina and I think she is actually sexier and more beautiful than Apollonia. We know she a better actress. Just think if she got the part in Purple Rain.
