Prince Documentary on BBC? E-mail received from Madhouse (UK) Titled BBC Radio Special - Fans Needed
BBC RADIO TO AIR 2 HOUR PRINCE SPECIAL The BBC are looking for UK based Prince Fans to take part in a 2 hour musical documentary, which will chart the story of Prince, paying particular emphasis on the mid to late eighties, but including his much ignored (by the media) latest work. They are seeking anyone based in the UK who would be willing to be interviewed for this programme. In particular they are looking for fans who attended the Xenophobia Celebrations this year. The programme sounds very promising. They have already spoken with many important figures in the Prince world, including band members, collaborators, and members of previous management. An independent broadcasting company (who are making the radio show) for the BBC are currently compiling the interviews. Anyone who would be willing to take part please contact Madhouse. For further information E-mail HYPERLINK mailto:madhouse@zetnet.co.uk madhouse@zetnet.co.uk with the heading ' RADIO SHOW'. Or write to us at the below address. You can call us and talk in confidence at any time. Thanks, Madhouse.

I recorded hour long Prince special from BBC Radio 2 a couple of years back. It wasn't anything for the fan, just basic biography with the usual songs.

Very possibly, we've just had an e-mail sent around work about one which is currently available, where are you in the world? This place is in a city called Exeter which is in a county called 'Devon'. It's about a 4-5 hour drive from London & quite close to the coast...

Duckie, your such a "fam". Just have to ask what is a 'fam'? In my naivity I must say I have never heard of it before, is it an American saying? If so my excuse is being english!!!

It's what Prince calls his fans. He says "fan" is short for fanatical whereas he prefers "fam" which is short for family. . .
