Prince's essay is taken from his NPGMusicClub.com site and used at Boycott-RIAA.com, which is good so many others can read Prince's comments on the RIAA and music industry in general.

Interesting part of this is the commentaries after the essay.

Most aren't Prince fans you can tell. Yet most think it's a "wonderful essay". And others can't deal with Prince's 2 & 4 and U's and 8's etc. The comments are split between those that add or acknowledge Prince's concerns, observations and commentary, and people discussing the word replacement.

Nice post...even though there were a few complaints regarding the 2s & 4s I was pleasantly surprised at the level of respect they gave to Prince...something you rarely see around here...

Cool, glad ya'lls like it. I was sleepy when I found it and kind of wrote it out the post kinda of lame-ish...but yeah, interesting to read non-Prince fans opinions and responses to Prince.

I think it may earn him some respect from a new generation.
