I just picked up Code magazine in my local grocery store. Code is a
fashion/Style type mag. It bills itself as the "Style Magazine for Men of
Color". Prince is on the cober wearing a $700 cashmere sweater. Anyway, the
article is entitled " the evolution of Man". It's written by Michael
Gonzalez who writes for Spin and other mags. The writer interviewed Prince at
Paisley Park recently. The article is rather succinct and gives a pretty
good synopsis of some recent events in Princes's life. It mentions Rave, the
agreement with Arista records, and the anullment of his marriage among other
things. Prince mentions EXACTLY why his father named him Prince.That's
something I had never heard him say before. Prince also talks about the sad
state of affairs that R&B music is in. All in the all it's a very good
article with some cool pics too. Check it out.
