Sunday Mail (Scotland) article on Rave, Mermaid Theatre

The following appears in today's Scottish Sunday Mail -

IT'S PRINCE CHARMING

What's in a name? Not much if you ask ... well, what is his name, anyway? He's been Prince, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince and just plain Symbol. His new album glories in the short and snappy title of Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic.

The Minneapolis marvel unveiled his new disc at a London showcase and it is an astonishing return to form. The Artist hit the stage and did what few manage - he charmed serious musos and industry bigwigs into admitting that they were having a wonderful time. They clapped, they danced, they even joined him on stage as they all rejoiced in The Artist's long-overdue return.

This is one of the outstanding albums of the decade, a multi-faceted affair featuring an array of guests including Chuck D, No Doubt's Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow.

Arranged, composed and performed by The Artist, Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic is quite simply brilliant.
