Yes, this isn't exactly Prince-related, which may upset a few of you, but reading the article makes me wonder if these guys are borrowing ideas from Prince. BTW, Soul Asylum is also from MPLS.

This is not directly related to 0(+> but may be of interest
because of the Musician vs. Major Label similarities to his
struggles. There is an article in 2days Startribune about
the band Soul Asylum parting ways with Columbia Records. It
has some interesting stuff about the problems of not having
complete artistic control when you are someone elses "slave"
