Tommy said it was a mistake cuz he married Pam after only 4 days. He's obviously learned from it if he's taking it slow with Mayte. Good luck to them!
And IMO I doubt Mayte considers her marriage with Prince a mistake. Aren't they still on speaking terms? Sometimes things just don't work out. | |

Unfortunately, it seems that many people can't fathom that Prince and Mayte could still be friends after their divorce. Seems like people think you have to have animosity with your exes. Prince and Mayte probably parted because of differences over spirituality. I don't understand why people can't just leave Prince, Mani, Mayte and Tommy all to lead their lives in peace. What they do in their personal lives is none of our business!

As far as I know Prince has never kept in contact with ex-lovers or ex-employees. I'm also pretty sure he wouldn't want to the way she cheated on him. I know I wouldn't want anything to do with that woman | |

Tears stream from my eyes as I type... Prince had told us Mayte was his soul mate... Diamonds and Pearls,  , Come, The Gold Experience, Emancipation... where would these albums be if it weren't for her inspiration?
The thought of Mayte being empaled by that huge, long, veiny salami of Tommy Lee's is just too much... Its a sad day for the Rainbow Children of Paisley Park! ----------------------------

I'm guessing the death of their son was what caused the split. About 90% of couples who lose a child (no matter what the child's age) end up divorced. I'm not so sure she was allowed to grieve the way she needed to grieve. | |
