Herald Sun reviews Rave

The most read newspaper in Melbourne, Australia reviewed Rave in it's HIT section, dated November 18.

The following is the review and will do only good to help promote it here in Australia, by the way you can get your RAVE copy from Mighty Music, in Chapel Street for all you Melburnites.

"Hallelujah! The artist has made a decent album. Joining the bandwagon, he also rips off his 80's sound. "Prince" is even credited as the producer here.

While too long and indulgent, (What!) SO FAR, SO PLEASED (featuring Gwen from No Doubt) show's he's remembered what hit songs sound like, while there's plenty of nods to his past - UNDISPUTED, WHEREVER U GO, WHATEVER U DO, I LOVE U, BUT I DON'T TRUST U ANYMORE.

Best is an excellent, funky cover of Sheryl Crow's EVERYDAY IS A WINDING ROAD.

A TAFKAP album that isn't dodgy. It must be 1999.

The verdict: ***1/2 (*** is good value & **** is excellent)

In a word: reaffirming

Other releases: Parade (1987) - (wrong!) and Lovesexy (1988)"
