I just bought a copy of December 1999 issue of CODE
magazine with the Artist on the cover at Border's.



The interview is pretty standard. He discusses Warner
Bros., ownership and the current state of R&B. All in
all, the article is positive. However, he does say some
interesting things like, "Missy Elliot and Timerland should
change their sound if they feel people are ripping them off.
That's what I've always done." And for all naysayers he
says, "Nor do I still have a marriage contract with Mayte,
although we're still together."



He also discusses respect for older musicians. He says, "If somebody
like Babyface wanted to rent my studio, I would charge them
a lot of money, but what would it look like if I asked Chaka
or Larry for any money?"



The photos are great. He never looked so good
wearing an $800.00 purple sweater and a $1,400.00 Versace
black sweater. The picture on page 89 is very cool! Its
three images mixed together. Parke could learn something.
