Indie band Dump covers Prince

I think this may have fallen underneath the radar of most Prince fans:
a band called Dump (a side project of the band Yo La Tengo) released a cassette-only collection of Prince covers last year on Shrimper Records.

It's called That Skinny Motherfucker with the High Voice and a friend played me two cuts from it: "The Beautiful Ones" and "Pop Life", and if you like lo-fi indie pop, you should really try to get this. Very pretty reworkings. Apparently you can order the cassette by going here:

It's 5 U.S. Dollars. The cassette also includes "1999", "Raspberry Beret",
"Erotic City", "When You Were Mine", and "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore?"

Morgane from the band Stereolab plays farfisa on "1999".
