Beyounce, Sheila E., and Ronda S. workin' it out? Late Thursday night on The 2night Show, Beyonce Knowles (lead singer of Destiny's Child) appeared singing her hit single from the upcoming Austin Powers movie in theaters July 27th. The song was titled "Work It Out", and that's exactly what she did with the help of Sheila E. on drums, and Ronda S. on bass. The per4mance was absolutely awesome, and Beyonce was workin' her gold shimmering dress. They all did very well on the show and it was worth seeing. 2 watch the repeat of the show, check ur local listings or just log-in online 2 http://www.nbc.com (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno). That was like...the best perfomance (other than The Strokes and No Doubt) that I have seen on Jay Leno in recent months!
Anyone notice Sheila E. was having trouble with here ear monitors? She missed a snare but was still on the beat with a smile! I love how Beyonce called out Sheila E! And man, does Beyonce have stage presence, reminded me alot of Tina Turner! Like a tribute! Very cool. And what legs...whew!

Wasn't that Eddie M on the saxaphone???
And I swear that the horn riff was the "da da da, da da da" theme for Dr. Evil. lol. As well, I swear I heard the theme to "The Jeffersons" in that groove. Work it out now! Guess this is what Rhonda is doing while the NPG are on their summer break away from The Park.

Yes, I did. Org note me, if you want. Decided to tape it since I read it originally right here on The Org, and then on RhondaSmith.Com. Did not know Shelia was in the mix.

Many local affiliates will show "NBC Late Night All Night" where they replay the Leno and Conan shows from the night before. This usually runs after Last Word with Carson or whomever they do this with. I know that the Grand Rapids, MI NBC will do this, while the Jackson, MI NBC will run Profiler or something. Or maybe I have those mixed up. ANyway, check you rlocal station and stay up late tonight! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I taped most of it, except for the very end, because the tape ran out... grr.
Sheila E was great, and I did notice her fiddling a few times with her ears. I just figured that her sunglasses were falling off or something. Funny how Jay Leno seemed very surprised when he recognized her at the end of the performance! I mean, like, where is the sun?

Not too good and not too bad.

Beyonce is 'shocking' the guys with that video...they're sweatin' her like J.Lo now! I guess she wasn't kidding when she was shakin' her ass in the other video singing "I don't think you're ready for this jelly"

Great performance, it really surprised me actually. I wasn't expecting Beyonce to have a song that I thought was good.
Nothing against her, I just never really dug Destiny's Child. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan
