This topic is too fun to resist, I feel dirty already.

Look, everyone has a bad day whether you are on stage or behind the scenes. So much for the disclaimer, now some funny dirt about a "too easy of a target," Prince during the "he-who-(or which)-has no-name" period.

At a party for industry folk in Music, Film & TV at a very nice house. Established somewhat gentrified crowd (seen it all been in the biz a long time types). Over in the corner is this short guy in a purple outfit licking a lollipop with two over-the-top huge gorilla bodyguards that would have made central casting cry in joy. I think it's a celib look-alike deal which I thought suprising for this shindig. Of course it's him & it's sort of like the elephant in the living room scenario where everyone is trying to ignore the 'sitch. Occasionally a couple of folks would try and wander over and say hi, and he & "the meat" would shake their heads side to side as in no, not saying a word.

One of the weirdest, funniest things I've seen. It was almost like a living art exhibit. "it was a great conversation piece"

I Have a friend who was dating a member of his band and she went to party that Prince was at. She said hello to him and immediately was picked up on both arms by two body guards and thrown out into the street just for saying hi.

Prince is so cool, and he is loved.

Prince is wonderful.
