Not "news" per se, but kinda cool/interesting! In the March 22, 1999 edition of Time, the soundtrack R. Kelly produced/wrote for the movie Life (the new Eddie Murphy flick) is reviewed! In it, the following blurb appears:



"virtually all the songs were written by one performer, R. Kelly. Life lacks the inventive brilliance of, say, Prince's 1989 Batman sound track, but it is a consistently pleasent album."
