Mel B and Prince Probably old news but on morning tv show RI:SE in UK there was a short item on Mel B (Scary Spice) relaunching her career with the help of Prince.
It mentioned previously recorded songs...surely these are old, 1999 or thereabouts! No news on release date etc. Live life and be happy

Mel B's Future Music Plans (24th June 2002) Worldpop Mel B is enlisting such big names as Prince to re-launch her singing career in the US. To help Mel's American plight, she plans to work with such respected luminaries as Ja Rule and Jay Z. First up however on Mel's list, is Prince. 'I'm gonna start it off in America because I've had lots of offers and proposals from people who wanna work me with me out there,' revealed Mel to New Nation. 'One of the people I can confirm I will be working with, which I am really excited about, is Prince.' The former Spice Girl was dropped from label Virgin after the poor performance of her debut solo album Hot. Mel has since focussed on her TV career, the singer hosted the talent show This Is My Moment, and has made guest appearances as presenter on Top Of The Pops and in the West End play The Vagina Monologues. Much like her erstwhile colleague Victoria Beckham, Mel maintains that she willingly left Virgin Records, claiming, 'I don't think I had the right frame of mind and focus for my direction.' We know how often and how fast Prince changes his mind. Probably she'll find out, too.

All I want to say is that Prince is obviously a supporter of Euthanasia...on his career.
Prince has now become a wasted talent. We all know that Prince is enormously talented and is an asset to the industry. But why is Prince releasing self indulgent albums, some only on the net therefore only reaching a limited number. And now working with pathetic bitches like Mel B? Its time that Prince shows the world that he is a force to be reckoned with, by releasing a good quality Commercial Pop/Rock album that will set his career flying again.

Don't do it Prince! Not only is she talent-less, she's a pain in the arse.

Appolonnia, Mayte and Carmen Electra were talentless, but Prince made them sound pretty damn good.
