Interesting comments from an interview with Jeff Beck in the current issue, April 1999, of 20th Century Guitar & the Collectible Guitar Buyer. The last question of the interview follows:



TCG: Is there anyone you haven't played with that you would like to?



JB: There's always Prince. Maybe Eric and B.B. to do some blues things. There's some great music that's just asking to be played. It's just a question of banging it together



But a Prince thing would be what I'd be looking for. Some wicked groove with the guitar doing the riff.



When I see him playing the guitar, I just go, "You rat! That's my gig, you just go up there and sing!"
