New Year's Eve in MPLS?

According 2 local Mpls. TV station KMSP channel 9; the Target Center in Mpls. is holding the date Dec. 31, 1999 4 Prince if he wants it.
They also stated that Garth Brooks was offered the date but he wanted 2 much $$$.
