Mpls. radio station KDWB-101.3 FM offered a mini-review of
the Rave CD on friday morning during their "Buy it,borrow it, or bag it" segment. The DJ doing the review said that
"Hot Wit U" and "Baby Knows" were her favorite tracks. She
said that many of the songs reminded or hinted at Prince's
great work from his old days and that fans of his should
"buy it",but that young listeners(this station is the Ricky/
Brittany leader in Mpls.) might want to "borrow it" first
to see if they like it. The opening 2 minutes or so of "Baby
Knows" was played(and sounded quite good in my car). All four of the DJ's offered that they liked this song as it was
being played. Maybe Mpls. radio stations will actually start
playing new music by the hometown kid again!
