From the Startribune:
Prince schedules two shows at Orpheum Published Jun 12, 2002 Prince is moving two of his seven "Xenophobia" concerts to the Historic Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis to accomodate more fans, including a June 21 show with funk veteran Maceo Parker and another on June 26 with rising soul star Musiq. Tickets are expected to go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, 651-989-5151 or http://www.ticketmaster.com. Prices were not available. Passes for the rest of "Xenophobia," a week-long mix of daytime seminars and nightly performances at Paisley Park Studio in Chanhassen, went for $250 apiece through the singer's New Power Generation Music Club (http://www.npgmusicclub.com). The site lists them as sold out. As on his current "One Nite Alone" tour, Prince is giving the best seats at the Orpheum to these passholders. -- Chris Riemenschneider Link is: http://www.startribune.co...96938.html | |

This is a fantastic idea!
Passholders get the best seats, and npg members and non-members(who are equally fans of his music, too) get to buy the additional seats. The Historic Orpheum Theatre is a very beautiful and intimate venue...the show will likely resemble a One Night Alone Tour show as they are being performed in venues just like the Orpheum.
