YAY i got mine and to Gary I wear a 46 reg suit and it fits. Its a lil snug in the lap area but its supposed to be. Unless u r not endowed.!!!!

My Target ad today had a better picture. The model wearing the "Purple Reign" cosume was young and he looked more like Prince does today- not the "Purple Rain" Prince.
He was holding a cheesy red inflatable guitar that did not look like any guitar that I have ever seen Prince use.
I was more pleased with the picture in todays ad then the pic posted here.

The weirdest thing just happened- Right after I posted this the song "Purple Rain" started playing on our 400 disc random play CD changer. It is my husbands so I only have 2 Prince CD's in it right now. He has it filled to the max too. How strange that it would play right after I posted this about the Purple Reign costume.

I went to buy this costume at Target over the weekend. When I tried to check out, the girl said she couldn't sell it to me because the product had been RECALLED! I pleaded with her, but she said she could not let me have it and called the manager to take the others off the rack.

So... what do you think:

a) the costume is flammable
b) Prince's lawyers shut it down
c) some other reason

Hmmm... now I need a plan B. I was going to be Super Prince!

I bought the wig this weekend at Ricky's in NYC which also carries the costume for like $40 (no online orders though)

Just thought I would share that on my birthday my co-workers bought this outfit and one of them dressed up and serenaded me for my birthday. It was pretty great!!

This was featured in our Target ad in the Sunday paper
