The catch is to choose a date/city that could not possibly work. A perfect example, would be to do what I did. Downtown New York, 4 star hotel for $20 a night on New Year's Eve. That way you aren't stuck with the hotel room, and you get $15 credit to spend at Tower Records, through a link at Flooz.com.



When the link takes you from Priceline.com to Flooz.com, it'll have you sign up for an account at Flooz so that you can get your Flooz money. Make sure that you write down your account number for Flooz, because you'll need that when you're checking out at Tower Records.



Then after you see the $15 in your account at Flooz, enter the following web address in your browser's address box.

My suggestion for those that live close to Tower Records, is to purchase two $10 "Tower Gift Cards" (aka gift certificates). That way you can go pick up Rave still at midnight on the 9th. You'll still have to spend $5, but it'll be worth it not to have to wait for it to be shipped, right?
