Yesterday, tuesday 26th, UPTOWN Benelux held a
pre-listening part for Rave in Ghent, Belgium ...



I was lucky enough to be there 'cause I was eager to hear
the complete album. Everybody received a booklet with all
the lyrics and credits to the song. Also, the first 20
people to subscribe or renew their subscription to Uptown
Magazine or to pre-order the Days Of Wild book received a
Promo Single of TGRES ... u can guess I was one of those 20



Then, around 10 o'clock, the listening started. Although
the soundsystem was a bit oversteered, we got a chance to
listen to the album like it's gonna be. I have to admit ..
most people liked it, and lots of people where allready
singing along with some of the songs (some really catchy
tunes in there). IMHO, Rave has been worth the wait...
some catchy funky tunes, some great ballads and some weired
stuff (Undisputed & Tangerine).



In my experience as a DJ, i think the album has some
hit-potential ... specialy TGRES, SFSP, and Everyday is a
Winding Road.



Pretty Man with Maceo is really too phonkay ... baby knows
got you groovin ... and hot with u reminds me of erotic
city. The ballads will certainly be welcome to warm up
those cold winter nights



i think it's time 4 Rave ... let the music enlighten our
hearts
