Just a quick not to tell you about the fantastic show last night (this morning?) Doors opened proptly at 1:00 and we all were shuffled into the Love4Oneanother room where a DJ was spinnig and there was pop and water and chips and stuff. A little before 2:00 the doors to the big soundstage were opened and we walked in as the band was already jamming!!! Once we were all in The Artist took the stage playing the shit outa his bass!! The show began with about a 20 minute version of Days of Wild with him switching to guitar halfway through. Next was Motherless Child followed by the first of the evenings special guests Mavis Staples! and her sister too. The did The Undertaker, another I don't know the name of and I'll Take You There. After this was The Ride.



Well I was hoping for an apearance and I got one because next The Artist went back and started playing some familier sounding keyboards and onto the stage comes none other than George Clinton!!! George tore it up for about a half hour starting with Flashlight, Tear the Roof off the Sucker and a bunch of rapping, talking etc.



After George left they finished with Everyday People, The Jam. A combination ot The Greatest Romance That's Ever Been Sold (the chorus kept being played) And the Come and Dance with Me song played at Mill City last month. It ended with Pretty Man. ALl in all the show was over two hours long and very very fun and funky!! New soundstage is cool!! I got a Rave T-SHirt too!
