Hey there...I saw the article about a live ONA version of "Strange Relationship" being played in DC. A friend of mine told me it's been playing on a local station here (Pittsburgh) as well. {{{ I called the station today to get the info. Apparantly it was sent out by Prince's camp, and contains 5 live songs from the ONA show on March 11, in Indianpolis. The label also lists his official website. Now I'm going to try to get them to send me a copy at the radio station}}}

What format stations are getting this cd? I am fairly friendly with a couple Program Directors here in Indy and I was wondering who I should bribe first. Did you hear it on an "80's" station, top 40, soft rock...?

Prince shudda been doin' this all along, actually back during year 1...like slipping some radio stations a promo copy of "When Eye Lay My Hands On U" or "Supercute"....Hope some live tracks end up out here in L.A... 8)

3 or 4 weeks ago a cd was up for auction on e-bay that claimed to be from the NPGMC. It was 5 songs from the Indy show. It was the 5 songs he opened with & Strange Relationship was one of them. It never was sold - it was yanked off before the auction concluded.

..and if you look closely, in very small print it says "copyright 2002 Thunderball records"

Funny, NPGMC members get a 35min "One Night Alone" CD for $100 (amunst the other things u get for that price), and radio stations, which by the way Prince proclaims "Radio Sucks" during the tour, gets a 5 track live CD for nothing.

I saw the eBayauction and wanted 2 bid on it. I had Paypal ready 4 a nice transfer and then the auction was cancelled within 2 days of starting it. HI, all fams! I also saw Live...One Nite Alone on Ebay and emailed the guy concerning it's authenticity. Well, the auction ended but I had the guy's email and bought it from him. I can't seem to get it out of my cd player. I've been playing it over and over. It's great to hear something live that is put out by Prince and not a bootleg. Excellent sound and it's 35 minutes. I bet these tracks will turn up on mp3 on NPGMC.
I'm sure they mentioned something about him cutting together some live tracks in the news section !?

which trax are on it? is there any arwork? info on the CD itself?
could you please put up a scan of it? that would be very nice..
my guess is also this, if prince cut it up to 35 minutes, this might be the next thing to be released through the NPGMC (woahahahaaa! sorry.. i got caried away a little..)

This CDR (which is of the Indy ONA show) was actually sent out over six weeks ago to radio stations, so there is nothing in their news items that even hints to it being released to club members. In fact, it seems pretty apparent that it's not intended for release to the club. Quite a shame really IMHO.
