Those issues look great. You've got to give props to Uptown for continuing to produce a quality purple publication year after year.

Uptown is just the best!!! I can't believe how long they have stuck it out. I was there at the first issue and I'm still with them. These people could have given up esp. during the lawsuit. Maybe one day Prince will acknowledge them and give them the props that they so richly deserve. I'm not kissing up but I just want Uptown 2 know how much they are appreciated...Aloha~

I took a copy of Uptown onto a plan ride to Vegas to see The New Master concerts. I was on the plane that Prince used to get to the show. Mr. Hayes sat in front of me. My companion asked him to autograph it. He did, but he wanted to look through it first, he was interested. I think he had seen it before, just not this issue. The rest of the band was on the plane, spread out through the coach section. It was quite a trip.

LOVE UPTOWN! Love it when it shows up in the mailbox! They are the best fanzine and do not suck up to their subject! I'm so glad they didn't fold during all the legal scares!
I've been with them along time too. Have every issue!
