The first CD of the 2002 NPG Music Club is here!

One Nite Alone..., a new piano and voice demo CD from Prince, is now
being sent out 2 all the active members of the Club. Check ur mail in the
coming days 4 it's arrival.

This is the first of 4 CDs u will b getting thruout the year directly
from NPG RECORDS.

What's wrong with a demo? Y'all should know by now that Prince's demos are such high quality recordings they could be released as records. I bet some of those who are saying "oh no not a demo" are the same people who have demanded Prince open up his vault and release all that funk! Well guys, those are all demsos too, duh! I certainly wouldn't say no if someone offered me demos of all his past unreleased songs.

i posted this on another thread, but 2001 members of the club got to hear 4 tracks off this CD already and they were finished songs that sounded great. i think he used the word demo in this case to mean that the songs have minimal intrumentation and may one day have full band arrangements. for now they r just him and a piano, an "unplugged" set of new songs.

Anyone NOT get the email from NPGMC yet that has been posted here?

That can't be. Prince played the whole Xenophobia CD inbetween the Oakland soundcheck and concert. Its an instrumental album, jazzy, weird sounds and noises. But very cool!

It had to be a studio album, not live. Where did you hear it would be a concert CD? If its from that Ebay auction, then your information is bad, thats just a bootleg of one of the ONA shows.
