On the October 5th edition of VH1's "The List", the song Nothing Compares 2 U was voted the #2 love song of all time. Clearly, this song would have been voted #1 had James Brown not been one of the celebrity panelists. He offered his own song "Try Me" as his selection for the top love song of all time. The audience voted for his song just because he was there, I'm sure. It seems like "The List" is Prince-friendly.
