Susan Rogers update {{{http://www.startribune.co...56059.html Excerpt:
Avant-garde icon Laurie Anderson, whose three-night stand at Walker Art Center ended Monday, might have collected material for her next show. After Sunday's performance, she went to the Loring Pasta Bar in Dinkytown with a party of 13 that included culture boosters John and Sage Cowles and former record engineer Susan Rogers. In addition to Prince and Barenaked Ladies, Rogers worked with Anderson on a never-released album based on her "Pieces and Parts." Over risotto, Rogers said she has gone back to school to study neuroscience, specifically the cognitive abilities of pigs. "We know pigs mostly through ham sandwiches," she said, "but I've always read and heard that they're intelligent." (R.P.) }}} © Bart Van Hemelen

Susan Rogers is the coolest engineer, person!
She has many fantastic stories of Prince's most interesting periods. She has contibuted incredibly to Uptown Magazine. I hope Uptown interviews her more. And I do believe an engineer contibutes greatly to the SOUND of an album! | |

I agree. Maybe Prince will hook up with her again, seeing they have something in common, he being a vegan, and her love for no ham sandwiches. Xperience the Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com/
