No offence.

* George was signed to Paisley Park.

* George appeared in Graffiti Bridge album and movie.

* George is a real true FUNK being!

I'll let others add to why this is somewhat Prince related.

Let me add a few..

- George is a HUGE influence.
- Recorded together (Notably, "We Can Funk (version 2 on GB)",
"Soulphycadelicide", Composed "The Big Pump" (on George's
"Hey Man, Smell My Finger" Album.
Album).
- Prince Inducted George and Parliament into the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame.
- He's a funky man.

Think about it as cross-pollinating the FUNK. A Prince fan at a PFUNK gig and PFUNK fan at a PRINCE gig. Sounds pretty funk to me! Funk begats funk!

"Side that Medusa group look spretty damn interesting!!!!

Last summer I witnessed for the first time a George Clinton and the P Funk All Star show in London... it was like watching a funky big old cow, a shaman with his entourage, a living glory. He´s a real freak, and his group is really mad! That character... Sir Nose I think... he´s crazy!

Ain´t no party like a P Funk party ´cos a P Funk party ain´t stop!
