Seattle has love for Prince

His show at the Paramount sold out in less than 10 minutes!
{{{
Both major newspapers featured him on their weekend entertainment guide.

Sold out in 5-10 minutes. Not bad for a "has-been." See you there.

Got 2 for main floor center! The Paramount is such a badass venue anyway, my gf and I just were there to catch the Shaolin Wheel of Life performance, which was really cool, and then out of nowhere last Wednesday caught word of the ONA show this Monday! I'll report back with observations after the show.

Don't know.

But if Prince is going to do an aftershow, let's hope it's Sky Church at The EMP.

Sky Church
The soaring central hall of EMP, Sky Church is designed to immerse you and your guests in an unparalleled sensory experience. This room, with a 70–foot ceiling, features the world’s largest indoor video screen accompanied by a 48,000 watt JBL surround–sound system. It has a state–of–the–art control room so our technical staff can work with whatever material you bring for your event program. With our complete set of staging equipment, including computer-controlled lighting, we’ll help you grab your audience’s undivided attention. (Sky Church Services and E...nt Package)
Jimi Hendrix talked about Sky Church, a placed where all kinds of people, regardless of age, background, or interests could come together to appreciate music. EMP's Sky Church brings this idea into reality. Nimbly transforming from a grand hall by day into a live performance and event venue by night, Sky Church is a consummate "gathering place" where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to experience music. Visually dramatic, Sky Church features a massive video frieze enhanced by state-of-the-art acoustics spanning one large wall while glowing time capsules filled with objects donated from bands featured at EMP are sunken into the translucent flooring.

Prince? No alcohol, no smoking allowed.
Nikka performed there for $10 last December. Unbelievable. Parliament-Funkadelic is performing there on May 4. Can't wait. smile

Prince would renovate Paisley after playing at Sky Church. Period smile
