The basketball team Sacramento Kings will have there first preseason game on october 9th. The owner of the team was on the local sports radio station saying that they would be handing out purple shirts to all of the 18,000 attendees of the game. Purple is part of the color scheme of the Kings and he said that they would be using the slogan "Purple Rain 2000: The Sacramento Kings" for this year. Basically they want to fill the place in purple. After that there was much conversation about The Artist and one caller even suggested that they use the song "Purple Rain" at all home games. Its not much but it is pretty damn cool!!
