Although "financially challenged", I would become a member if the daily costs weren't extreme. I can understand wanting members only there for a more intimate environment, but there may still be a ton of people. In all practicality, shouldn't this have been planned four/six months ago? A week long event -- for some bigger than maybe woodstock -- and there sending emails asking for feedback now???? Seems the business side of the npg needs to do "the work" a bit more. Anyway, I'm looking forward to their decision...

LISTEN!!!!!

I don't see what the problem is? I like the idea of it being a members only event. That's what the club is all about. Privliges. But Prince, please don't charge a ridiculous amount. I think $100 is fair.

However, it's a shame that people that aren't members can't go. Maybe members can get a weekly pass which includes the final concerts and get them cheaper than non-members.

p.s. Prince headlining every night? That would be amazing. If he performed a different era each night, that would be even more amazing.

My picks:
Parade
Lovesexy
Sign o the Times
Rainbow Children
a total acoustic night of all the hits( include Thieves!)
A night of bootlegs and B-sides!!
Then a full blown out concert for the 7th night.

One Can Dream!!!!!
"I have a date with Lisa. Isn't that wonderful?"

It just seems to me that right now Prince is equating money with loyalty. If you are willing to spend $100 to become a member of his music club and willing to spend even more money to go to a MEMBERS ONLY Celebration, then you get to go to a Celebration with only "all of r closest friends" Well I'm sorry but money doesn't a true friend make.

It's not really the idea of a Members Only Celebration, that bothers me, that's all fine and good to me. It was the way in which the whole thing was worded. It sounds like he is actually saying "How much would u pay to be considered one of r closest friends?" That's selective and very segregated. You give me money, you can be my friend, if you don't, then you don't count. Sorry, but I can't see paying anyone to be thought of as a "friend"

I am getting pretty tired of lining his pockets this year. GIVE SOMETHING TO YOUR MEMBERS. I said I would pay the $70 I paid last year with maybe a 3%-5% increase. That's enough. He has just finished a tour that has made him a pretty penny. STOP BEING GREEDY. If membership has its privileges, I'd like to see them.

Hmm...let's see. I have given him $100 thus far this year for a downloadable song entitled "Silcon". The only Silly-Con is the fact that we, the suckers that actually pay this man continue to funnel $$$ his way with little if any return. In fact, I am willing to bet the monies received from the NPGMC have financied the entire One Night Alone Tour (Roadies, Promotions, etc..). He should be playing for FREE for all of the members that have financed his tour.
