Sheryl Crow's keyboard player Mike Rowe shared his thoughts about meeting and playing with Prince.



"The real event of the day happened at the gig itself. The Artist formerly known as Prince attended. He flew in from Minneapolis especially to see Sheryl and, of course, me. He was very friendly and we all bombarded him with questions concerning his life and music, as we are all fans of his. Sheryl managed to persuade him to play with us on 'Every Day is a Winding Road,' which was absolutely stunning. We slowed it down and funked it up. The Artist walked casually out and the crowd went wild. He played some wonderful bits of guitar, sang and basically, performed amazingly. After the gig, we all agreed that it was an experience to be remembered and it was a great honor and pleasure to be playing with him on stage."
