George Clinton and P-Funk play at The World on April 9th P-Funk are set to play at The World, literally below Times Square on the same night Prince plays at Avery Fisher. Just 25 blocks north.
Doesn't seem like there's any time for either one of them to cameo on stage but it does open up the possiblity for a sick afterparty. Funk is definitely its own reward! | |

I just returned home from the Avery Fisher Hall Show and the World aftershow. My feet hurt so much, but let me tell you, Prince was out of control.This was the best aftershow I've ever been to. Prince played for 3 hours at AFH and then another 2 hrs at the World where George Clinton, Alicia Keys, Doug E. Fresh, among others joined him onstage. He tore the two places up. I will leave the more detailed reports to others. I am exhausted and I need to sleep. If I died tonight, I would die happy. "It's hard 4 me 2 say what's right when all I want to do is wrong..." | |
