A perplexing situation happened last night and I'm still
trying to figure out what the deal was.Perhaps someone out
there knows something? I worked until 9:00 and as I do by
instinct I checked a few websites including Love4oneanother
before I left. Nothing new. When I got home I found myself
on the computer again for a few minutes and a new message
had appeared in the Future section titled "Set 2nite" The
message (dated Sept 22) said that Paisley Park would be
having a jam session featuring Patti Labelles drummer.
"xpect a lot of freeform jazz. The walls of Paisley have
been reverberating with Jimi Hendrix, Duke Ellington and
other free 4m sounds" or something like that. So I thought
"what the heck" jumped in my car and headed out. When I got
there there was not one single other person waiting (this
was at about 12:30, doors are usually 1:00) I hung around
for a half hour and no other cars turned in and there was
no sign of life in Paisley either. I thought "am I missing
something here?" An official statement on the web site that
had gone up between 9:00 and 10:00 and then no-one shows up
and nothings going on? I went home, checked again. The
message was still there and in fact was still there this
morning. Sometime today it disappeared and is no longer on
the site. Anyone have any explanation for this? Every other
time there has been an announcement of a jam on the website,
even on short notice on odd nights, there have been many who
showed up and a show as promised. Hmmmmm.....
